BASIC MOVE
Lying Knee Drop
PURPOSE | To open your hips and warm up your knee and ankle joints.
GET READY | Lie on your back and bend your legs, placing your feet on the floor wider than your hips. Put your arms out to your sides, palms facing the ceiling.
GO | Exhale and drop your left knee inward, toward the center of your body, as far as you can without allowing your hip to come off the floor. Make sure your foot stays flat on the floor as you move your knee. Pause, and then bring that knee back to the start position. Perform the same movement with your right knee. Alternate legs until you’ve performed the prescribed reps.
